Keeping the trails open.
The above statement is our primary mission, keeping the trails open for
equestrian use. We do this primarily by donating many volunteer hours to
maintaining trails; clearing trees and other debris, rebuilding trails, and
maintaining camp sites. The fact that our trail work also benefits hikers
and bicyclists is secondary.
We work closely with the
U. S. Forest Service, National
Parks, and the State Department of
Natural Resources, the
federal and state agency's in charge of managing the forest.
We are a Chapter of
Back Country Horse Men (BCHW), Washington State, and affiliated with
Back Country Horse Men America (BCHA)
